EM615 - Computational Fluid Dynamics

Credits: 3

This course covers the theories and numerical methods for solving fluid dynamics and heat transfer problems, and introduces students to the use of computational fluid dynamics. After completing the course, students will have a basic understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and be able to solve simple CFD problems using a commercial CFD package. The course consists of lectures, exercises, computer exercises in the form of homework, and a smaller project assignment.
