NAUT470 - Maritime Communications Upper Level

Credits: 2

This course is the second course in the Maritime Communications course structure.  Maritime Communications consist of two in-residence courses and a sea project.   These courses and the sea project are designed to provide the student, the knowledge of the proper protocols (procedures and policies) to effectively communicate within the maritime environment using both GMDSS and Non-GMDSS communications systems.
 

Prerequisites: NAUT270
2 2-hour lab/class a week
