NAUT270 - Maritime Comms-Lower Level

Credits: 2

This course is the first course in the Maritime Communications course structure which consist of two in-residence courses and a sea project.   These courses and the sea project are designed to provide the student, the knowledge of the proper protocols (procedures and policies) to effectively communicate within the maritime environment using both Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) and Non-GMDSS communications systems.
