HIST400 - Seminar in National Security Policy and Strategy Credits: 2
This course is an introduction to the theory, creation, and management of U. S. national security policy. It examines the environment - both international and domestic - in which policy and strategy formulation occurs, the actors and agencies that formulate policy and strategy, and the instruments of power (diplomatic, informational, military, and economic (DIME)) the United States employs to pursue its national policy and strategy objectives. This is a required course.
Prerequisites: HIST300 2 class hours a week
