LITR200 - Literature of the Sea

Credits: 3

A survey of the greatest writing about the sea, Homer and “The Seafarer,” through Melville and Conrad, to Patrick O’Brian and Jimmy Buffett. Students share and write stories of their own sea year adventures. This is an elective course.
