WRIT110 - Technical & Professional Communications

Credits: 2

This course will sharpen your technical and professional writing skills and professional communication skills. You will learn strategies for composing, organizing, and revising various forms of non-personal writing as part of your preparation for responsible positions on ships and leadership of the maritime industry.” This is a required undergraduate course designed to meet ABET requirements in order to complete the Marine Engineering Systems and Shipyard Management degrees. This is also required for non-ABET accredited engineers (“Straight Engine”) as per the Department of Marine Engineering.

Prerequisites: ECME 105  
2 class hours a week
