ESEA240 - Shipboard Systems 1 at Sea

Credits: 2

This course is a study of the ship’s auxiliary machinery, the ship’s support systems and the operational procedures related to the ship’s main propulsion system. This course also includes environmental concerns, pollution control, safety equipment and practices used on the ship’s auxiliary systems and provides the Midshipman with practical operating experiences.

Prerequisites: ECME 101  , ECEE 100   and NAUT 101
