ESEA330 - Marine Propulsion 2 at Sea

Credits: 2.5

This course is a study of the main propulsion machinery, the associated support systems and the operational procedures related to the ship’s main propulsion steam systems, auxiliary steam systems or main propulsion gas turbines. The course focuses on either main propulsion steam or gas turbine plants; or auxiliary steam systems on main propulsion Diesel plants.

Prerequisites: ECME 101   and ECMT 100  
2nd sailing period
